The Suppression of Modular Multi-Level Converter Circulation Based on the PIR Virtual Impedance Strategy

In recent years, with the rise of electric vehicle industry, there has been significant research on charging and power supply technologies for vehicles. terms corresponding converter usage, modular multi-level converters (MMCs) are also increasingly used in field because their unique advantages. However, circulating current problem MMCs not effectively addressed existing domestic international studies. this paper, we propose a proportional-integral resonant (PIR) control method combined virtual impedance optimal suppression MMC internal based comparison generalization methods. Based analysis working principle MMCs, paper proposes adopts strategy combining resonance to suppress builds simulation model MATLAB verify that proposed is feasible.
